MadPixel – Terms and Conditions for Applicants and Consultants
1. Introduction

By submitting your application to MadPixel Inc. (“MadPixel”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms govern the submission, review, and processing of your application to become a consultant, freelancer, or contractor affiliated with MadPixel.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not submit an application.

2. Application and Selection Process

Submitting an application does not guarantee employment, engagement, or project placement with MadPixel or its clients.

MadPixel reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.

The information you provide must be truthful, accurate, and complete. Providing false or misleading information may result in disqualification or termination of any future engagement.

You may be contacted for verification, interviews, or technical assessments as part of the selection process.

3. Data Collection and Privacy

By applying, you consent to MadPixel collecting, storing, and processing your personal and professional information for recruitment and placement purposes.

Your data may be shared with MadPixel’s employees, contractors, and clients as necessary to evaluate your suitability for available projects.

MadPixel complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Québec) and, where applicable, GDPR for international applicants.

4. Consultant Relationship

Submitting an application and being accepted into the MadPixel network does not create an employment relationship.

Consultants engaged through MadPixel operate as independent contractors, unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement.

Independent consultants are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, licenses, and legal obligations.

5. Confidentiality

Any non-public information shared during the application or onboarding process must be treated as confidential.

You agree not to disclose, copy, or use any confidential information about MadPixel, its clients, or partners except as authorized in writing.

6. Intellectual Property

Any materials, resumes, portfolios, or documentation you submit remain your property.

However, by submitting them, you grant MadPixel a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use this information solely for evaluation and recruitment purposes.

7. No Guarantee of Work

Acceptance into the MadPixel consultant network does not guarantee work, project assignments, or client introductions.

Opportunities are offered based on client needs, consultant expertise, and availability.

8. Modification of Terms

MadPixel reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued participation in the application or consultant process constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
